Voting.

I've made my position quite clear over the last few days on here regarding who I'll be voting for today, but I would like to ask just one thing of the few people that read this blog. If you can vote today, please do. It's incredibly important and a lot of people have given a great deal so that you have the option. Please use the opportunity to make your views clear, even if it is a spoiled ballot. Or worse! Just kidding. It takes only a wee bit to make sure you at least have a say in the running of the country. Voting is a privilege.

Aye and I'm the Pope. You'll be there, wee red rosette and all begging for the Labour vote. I can SMELL IT!

That snivelling little bureaucrat is too busy counting beans and such like to bother with voting Niall. I could just imagine him doing a good job in the Third Reich's Department for Eugenics or some such like.

Also, you said..."Voting is a privilege." No it isn't you fyool. That implies we should be very thankful to our lords and masters for granting us the chance to vote. Voting is an act that is a right of man - we demand and we fight for it - real democracy is more than just casting a vote and counting noses of course but I'll leave you to do some reading before I confuse you with more sophisticated concepts beyond your little nationalist mindset.

Bill, Bill, Bill. I agree voting is a right, but not everyone has it so we are priveleged to have it is what I was getting at. Still, I perhaps should have made myself clearer. And no I don't think we should be thankful to our "lords and masters for granting us the chance to vote" primarily because I don't have any lords or masters. Those people are elected to serve me, not the other way round.

As for more sophisticated concepts beyond my "little nationalist mindset"? I'm quite busy as it is without reading the pish you'd come up with. Afterall, I'm apparently not very bright compared to your weighty intellect. Must be tough to carry around all that intelligence as well as the big chip on your shoulder. Good luck with that though.
